What is SCS Luxury Cosmetics Samples? What makes your store different from any other beauty supplier or makeup/skincare/cosmetics company?

My name is Sarah C., and I'm an experienced drug development chemist with expertise in sterile technique. I also love makeup, skincare, and fragrance--but like most people, I can't afford to spend what many high-end or luxury brands charge, and don't need nearly as much makeup or fragrance as is sold for those high prices. The desire to be able to buy luxury makeup, skincare, and fragrance, but in amounts or sizes I could reasonably "use up" prior to expiration, resulted in the idea for this business. The encouragement of my loyal customers from my Mercari storefront pushed that idea to fruition. I began this company to ensure a trusted source of sustainable, high-end makeup in quantities you can really use and sold at prices you can afford.

Say goodbye to the days of having "makeup graveyards" on your vanity, along with gunky (expired) mascara or concealer, and mostly-unused bottles of separated foundation. I want you to be able to (sustainably) dispose of or reuse the packaging from your SCS Luxury Cosmetics purchase when you're done, because you will be done by the time your products expire. Why spend upwards of 30, 50, or even hundreds of dollars on a single container of makeup, skincare, and fragrance you can't possibly use up, when you can buy all of your favorite products instead for a fraction of the price?

Companies justify their insane mark-ups by providing huge pans of bronzer and contour, big tubes of lip gloss and concealer, and enormous bottles of fragrance that most people rarely finish or "use up" entirely prior to expiration. How many eyeshadow palettes have you actually used up entirely? How many concealer tubes have expired prior to your using up every last bit of hyper-expensive product? This is the solution. As an expert in sterile technique, I'm fully capable of extracting a smaller amount of product and providing you with sizes and quantities you can actually use at massive discounts, while providing a consistently clean, accurate, and reliable experience.

Returns:

Due to the highly-customized process of making these product sets for my clientele, all sales are final and non-refundable. If there is an issue with your order such as a defect or damage, please contact me and I'll do my best to rectify the issue.

Shipping:

For now, shipping is simply paid for by the client, and is dependent on the purchase size and weight. However, in the near future, there will be a minimum purchase amount which customers can meet to obtain free shipping on their purchase.

I only see one or a handful of items available. What's going on?

As I (the site founder) work on building this site over the next few weeks, it'll become more comprehensive and complete. The goal is to allow customers to choose and curate just a few pieces, or entire palettes of makeup including smaller sized makeup pans, with an amount of product you'll actually use prior to expiration! This will reduce waste, both for the planet and your wallet. You can also use these smaller sizes from popular makeup, skincare, and fragrance brands to try out expensive cosmetic items before buying the full-size versions.

As an experienced, graduate-educated sterile chemist and drug development expert, you can count on me to ensure clean, sanitary transfer protocols (otherwise known as "depotting" for makeup and/or skincare, and "decanting" for fragrance), exact measurements, and well-packaged products that are consistent and just as reliable as buying directly from the brands, themselves.
